Family trusts are not a panacea

In the past, rich people set up family trust funds to avoid disputes over assets after their death, while some people just want to share their assets or properties to their children and exclude their wives because they can’t share the wealth with the poor. However, according to some lawyers, family trusts are not foolproof. Even if the spouse is excluded as a beneficiary of the trust, he or she will still be entitled to a share of the family assets after the divorce.
