While we are all worrying about ourselves and our families during this 5th Wave of COVID -19 pandemic, a big group of elderly in Hong Kong who are living alone in public housing also need our care and concerns. They could be one of the most vulnerable groups in Hong Kong, and they need a lot of assistance from the society. The entire team of RKS joins force with Rotary Club Central and The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council, together with many more volunteers, participated in a campaign to call over 1,500 elderly in Shamshuipo to ascertain their needs to plan for follow up action during the pandemic.
This is the first RKS charity act, and we hope to have more opportunities in the near future to use our knowledge and resources to help the society.
