
Janice has over 10 years of experience advising in all areas in matrimonial and family related matters including divorce and separation, nuptial agreements, relocation, wardship, adoption, childcare and custody and financial disputes, often with an international element. Janice has a particular interest in dealing with cases involving complex financial issues such as those involving trust and corporate structures, and third-party interests issues. Janice has participated in various cases advising high net worth clients with substantial assets. She also has experience in dealing with contentious estate and probate matters.
She was trained in an international law firm where she received training in family, wealth planning and was also seconded to the commercial team in London for six months. Upon her qualification in 2016, Janice has devoted her practice in family law as she is committed to provide delicate assistance to others and resolve their problems during one of the most challenging periods in their lives. She strives to achieve a positive and favourable outcome for clients with her empathetic and pragmatic approach.
Janice is also keen to help clients resolve their disputes outside the courtroom and she has participated in a number of mediator-facilitated Financial Dispute Resolution Hearing and has helped parties reach a settlement.
Janice is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She is a member of the Hong Kong Family Law Association, a regular contributor for the Hong Kong Family Law Reports, and a member of the CPD committee in the Law Society of Hong Kong.
In 2024, she was recognised by Doyle’s Guide Hong Kong as a Rising Star in Family Law.
